CELPIP LISTENING: There are only 3 types of questions – Question 1

Listening

There are only three (3) types of questions:

  1. Specific Detail questions

These questions ask the test-taker to remember one specific detail from the audio recording. All answers to these questions are clearly stated by one of the speakers in a single phrase or sentence. If the answers in the drop-down box are short, then this may be a clue that this is a specific detail question.

For example:

Why is the man upset?

Who left the door open?

When did the accident occur?
