Prompt 2

It is predicted that robots are going to become increasingly important in our lives. How could robots be used in the future? Will this development be a positive or negative development?

Introductory Paragraph

Sentence 1: As technology advances, robotic use in many industries is increasing.

Sentence 2: Although some people believe that robotic use will continue to develop in the future,

others remain pessimistic about this progress.

Sentence 3: This essay will discuss the importance of robotic use in the future

and explain why the future may not be so beneficial for humans.

Paragraph 1

Sentence 1: Robot use has been a great advantage to industry because many of the things a

human finds it difficult to do, a robot can do efficiently and effectively.

Sentence 2: If computer technology continues to advance, it can be assumed robotic use will

increase right along with it.

Sentence 3: For example, the car industry has almost eliminated the human element from its

factory assembly lines.

Sentence 4: We can now foresee a future where very few humans are needed to be employed in

industrial jobs.

Paragraph 2

Sentence 1: On the other hand, if robots do continue to develop with advancements in

technology, human employment may disappear altogether.

Sentence 2: This could lead to a future of mass unemployment, where only a few people are

employed to attend to computers.

Sentence 3: For instance, robotic computers will control almost every aspect of our lives from

house cleaning to finance and all forms of industrial activity.

Sentence 4: Although it may seem beneficial that humans do not work, the future may be a

terrible because it will be bereft of anything meaningful to do for most people.

Conclusion

Sentence 1:  In conclusion, this essay has discussed the future of human beings in a world

where technology has progressed by way of robotic use.

Sentence 2: In my opinion, while robots may replace humans in the future because they are

more capable and effective workers, humans will have to find alternative ways to employ

themselves.
