Read and Select 

Asks you to recognize ‘real’ English words presented in three rows. 

Praxis: Just select a ‘real’ word by clicking on it with your mouse’s cursor. 

Time: 1:00 minute. 

TIPS: 

Read carefully. Some words will read differently due do letter changes in spelling. 

You will probably do 2 or 3 of these tasks, so don’t be concerned if one question has more ‘real words’ than the next question.

 Answers: Real words in the above example are: alive, rocket, alone, lift, hostile, elevator, runny.

Note*: One of the major assumptions that drives this task is that people can recognize ‘real’ English words if they are well-read. Try to read in as many genres as possible to help expand your vocabulary.
